What is Nappanee Civic Theatre?
Nappanee Civic Theatre, (NCT), is a non-profit community theater organization which brings live stage shows to Nappanee and the surrounding community.
Since its beginning in October of 1958, NCT has presented a wide variety of stage shows. Everything from the major musicals; such as "Fiddler On The Roof", "The Music Man", and "Guys And Dolls" to name a few; to the classic comedies and mysteries, such as, "Arsenic And Old Lace", "Ten Little Indians", and "Harvey".
But in addition to bringing fine stage productions, it also provides an outlet for people like yourself, the amateur actors and actresses in the area, to perform in high quality productions, both musicals and straight shows. To some, NCT is as close as they will ever get to being a "actor" or "actress". To others it is a stepping stone to the "big time". But there is one thing everyone at NCT has in common. To have some fun on stage!
If trying your hand at acting sounds like something you would like to try, make sure you check out the audition section of this site. Auditions are open to anyone!
Many others only know NCT by it's famous Haunted Farm.
For 12 years, the Haunted Farm has entertained tens of thousands of people every October. Check out the Fright Factory page to learn more about this year's Haunted Attraction.
